College, Christmas the focus of At Home’s new Oh Joy! collection

DALLAS — At Home is targeting the back-to-college market through a new collaboration with lifestyle brand creator and designer Joy Cho.

The Oh Joy! line spans a wide range of home-related products including furniture, storage, home décor, wall art, lighting, textiles and seasonal items. The back-to-college collection, which arrives in At Home stores in July, offers small-space products in bold colors and patterns using materials such as colored acrylic and mirrored tile.

“My brand is all about combining joy with your personal style, which is what these collections are all about,” said Cho, founder and creative director of the Oh Joy! lifestyle brand. Cho, who launched her business as a graphic design studio in 2005, has authored seven books and collaborated on products ranging from wallpaper and tile to shoes and loungewear.

An Oh Joy! Christmas collection will debut in November.

“We believe that At Home’s selection and affordability, combined with Joy’s bright and lively style, allow customers to create colorful and energetic spaces,” said Jeff Evans, president and chief merchandising officer for At Home.

Cho joins Laila Ali, Tracey Boyd, Willow Crossley, Ty Pennington and Grace Mitchell, along with brands Elf on the Shelf and FAO Schwartz, with collaborator-focused collections for At Home. At Home currently operates 266 stores in 40 states.
