Hancock & Moore taps industry veteran for VP role

Hickory, N.C. — Hancock & Moore, a leather upholstery manufacturer, has appointed John Pigg as the new vice president of sales.

A graduate of Appalachian State University, Pigg has held a variety of sales management positions in the furniture industry, most recently as vice president of sales for Vanguard Furniture.

In addition to his role at Hancock & Moore, Pigg will also take the role of vice president of sales for Jessica Charles and Maitland-Smith, Hancock & Moore’s sister companies.

“John’s skills in leadership, merchandising, product, operations, logistics, marketing and sales anaylsis will serve to propel our brands forward for the future,” said Phil Brown, president of Hancock & Moore and Jessica Charles.
