Moe’s promotes ‘proven’ team member to COO position

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — Home furnishings maker and retailer Moe’s Home Collection has promoted Megan Fischer to chief operating officer.

Fischer joined the company 15 months ago and has handled increasing responsibilities during her tenure, primarily overseeing the logistics, customer care and warehousing departments. Officials say her promotion reflects her invaluable contribution and pivotal role within the company.

“We are delighted to promote Megan Fischer to COO. Her proven history and sharpened sense of impactful organizational excellence will be key to strategically positioning us for our planned growth in the coming years,” said Moe Samieian Jr., co-CEO. “We are confident in her ability to steer us towards a future that values both product distinction and operational efficiency.”

Prior to joining Moe’s Home Collection, Fischer served as vice president of integration at Aritzia, a public company with a global e-commerce platform and more than 100 retail locations across North America.

With an emphasis on using data and technology for informed decision-making, Fischer aims to optimize forecasting and performance. By cultivating a team-oriented environment and fostering synergy between key departments, she has led the charge in fine-tuning operations, ensuring a consistent and high-level customer experience.

In her new role, Fischer plans to build on the brand’s reputation and drive forward a vision that integrates product quality with seamless system implementation.

“It’s about providing an extraordinary product matched with an equally exceptional customer experience,” said Fischer. “Our goal is for customers to see us as the standard for innovation and smooth execution. I want them to come back time and time again because not only do they love the product, but also because of the responsiveness of our customer care and the seamlessness and efficiency of our order fulfillment.”

Sara Samieian, co-CEO of Moe’s Home Collection, echoes Fischer’s focus on customer experience. “Our vision centers on making sure every facet of our operations — from logistics to customer care — operates with precision and attentiveness,” she said. “We’re crafting a robust operational framework that ensures each customer feels prioritized and valued.”

Coinciding with this news is the release of the Moe’s Home Collection Spring Summer collection, which features more than 300 new intros.
