Nourison Home president discusses plans for J Mish Mills

CALHOUN, Ga. – Increasing its U.S. manufacturing presence is one of several reasons behind Nourison Home’s recent acquisition of J Mish Mills in Cartersville, Ga.

“For more than 20 years, they have been manufacturing high-quality wool carpets, with their facility located 20 minutes from our Georgia operations,” said Andrew Peykar, Nourison Home president. “Their range of rich textures, sophisticated colors and custom design capabilities made them a popular choice within the design community.”

J Mish Mills is a carpet manufacturer specializing in wool floor coverings offering modern, unique, classic designs through applied patterns. The company has been producing carpet in the U.S. for more than 30 years.

“We saw an opportunity to leverage Nourison Home’s resources to further develop and expand their product line, enhancing manufacturing speed and efficiency,” Peykar added. “This acquisition enhances our U.S. manufacturing presence, increases our custom capabilities and provides a robust carpet brand to cultivate and expand.”

Nourison Home will continue to market products under the J Mish Mills brand, adding it to its existing broadloom brand architecture, which currently includes Nourison Carpet, Nourtex Carpet, Hagaman and Nourison Hospitality. The company will also add the Riviera brand to its overall portfolio as the exclusive North American distributor of this specialty handmade and Wilton woven brand, which is produced in India.

J Mish Mills will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Nourison Home, with a separate sales force and branding identity.
