Pottery Barn Teen roars out of the gate with 2024 dorm collection

SAN FRANCISCO – Pottery Barn Teen is getting an early jump on the Back-to-Campus season.

In addition to launching its largest dorm collection to date, the retailer is offering new digital tools, including the “Build my Bed” 3D visualizer and “Ultimate Dorm Wishlist” feature, both now available for use on the Pottery Barn Teen mobile app and website.

The expanded assortment includes new styles of Twin XL bedding, No Nails headboards, décor, bath and rolling drawer carts along with area rugs, dec pillows and lamps. Pottery Barn Teen has also expanded its popular collaboration with fashion brand, LoveShackFancy, to offer trend-forward dorm essentials.

Enhanced services at www.pbdorm.com include:

  • The new “Build My Bed” visualizer guides the customer step-by-step through a 3D rendering of each layer of their Twin XL bed, from sheets and decorative pillows, to choosing a headboard. The feature uses proprietary augmented reality technology to help customers see renderings before purchasing. The customer can spin and zoom on true-life imagery of the bed to see it from every angle.
  • The Wishlist includes a collaborator feature that allows both parents and teens to add items as well as share the Wishlist to gift givers or roommates.
  • Pottery Barn Teen now offers free Dorm Design Services offering advice on how to design a dorm room or provide support in selecting the best dorm essentials. Customers can book an appointment either virtually or in-person with a Dorm Expert.

“We want to make outfitting a dorm a seamless and enjoyable experience,” said Jennifer Kellor, President, Pottery Barn Teen. “With the launch of our new digital functionalities and services, we are proud to offer our customers an enhanced dorm shopping experience from start to finish.”
