NEWTON, N.C. — McCreary Modern, a family- and employee-owned ESOP furniture company based in Newton, N.C., has reached what it calls a major milestone in safety performance: accumulating 10 million combined hours without a lost time accident. This is a result of the company’s safety culture that encourages employees to take ownership of all aspects of safety performance.

“We are so proud of each employee-owners’ contributions in achieving this remarkable milestone,” said Rick Coffey, president and COO. “This reflects true dedication and each individual’s acceptance to a culture that embraces everyone’s safety.”
