Solid wood flat-pack furniture: Mantra Inspired shows off new table collection

NORFOLK, Va. – Virginia-based Amish solid wood furniture manufacturer Mantra Inspired has introduced its new flat-packed Unity table collection. The four-piece line is crafted from walnut, white oak, cherry or maple.

Features include soft curves and designs meant to highlight the beauty of the wood.

“Unity’s design answered our challenge of how to reduce transportation carbon costs to the environment by the ability of flat packing, ease of assembly and disassembly, as well as reuse and refinish options,” the company said in a release. “The base comes in two pieces that easily slide together, and the top is simply bolted to the base. This creates an easy installation solution, which reduces costs to the end user.”

Each of the four tables is offered in a hardwood of choice. The round table, as an example, sees a maple retail for $2,103, walnut for $3,315, white oak for $2,992 and cherry for $1,881. Other tables include square, coffee and side designs.

Manta sells primarily to designers. The company is working on a quick-ship website functionality, but tables are contact-to-order currently.
