Spring Air expands international reach with new licensee in Thailand

WOBURN, Mass. – Building on its international licensing network, Spring Air International has added Theptex Thailand Co., a latex and mattress manufacturer, to its footprint.

Founded in 2014, Samut Prakan, Thailand-based Theptex makes custom mattresses and pillows, as well as produces latex for the shoe, automotive and healthcare industries. The company’s latex made from GOLS-certified organically grown rubber trees.

This marks the fourth international licensee Spring Air has signed in the past 13 months.

Nick Bates, president of Spring Air International, welcomed Teptex to the Spring Air network, saying he is eager “to expand the brand’s reach and experience what the Thailand markets have to offer. We look forward to many years of watching the company advance in this market while simultaneously advancing our international efforts.”

Theptex employs 90 workers and service customers in Thailand, China, India, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Laos, Vietnam, Australia, Europe and the United States.
