Steelcase teams with another top esports organization

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Office and contract furniture giant Steelcase has teamed up with Fnatic, a U.K.-based esports group and one of the largest competitive gaming organizations in the world. This marks the company’s second esports partnership in a year.

Under the partnership, Steelcase will become Fnatic’s “official performance seating sponsor,” supplying players with a line of gaming chairs. Steelcase will also help educate players and creators on how to best configure their seating and product to help maximize comfort and wellbeing, the company said. Steelcase, in return, will get branding presence on Fnatic’s team jerseys, social media and anywhere else Fnatic deploys content.

“Thank you for the opportunity, Fnatic,” Steelcase wrote on X. “Looking forward to working with you and helping gamers sit and move comfortably so they can focus on the game.”

Last July, Steelcase also became the official seating partner to Luminosity Gaming, one of the top esports organizations in the U.S.

With the rise of esports and gaming over the past decade, more furniture companies are dedicating items to the segment. Industry giants such as Ikea, MillerKnoll, Lovesac, Haworth, Steelcase and Humanscale are committed to the segment with dedicated offerings.
