Swavelle Group adds three to leadership team

NEW YORK — Swavelle Group, a family-owned textile company that include brands Bella Dura, Bella Dura Home, TFA, Swavelle and Swavelle USA, has added to its corporate leadership team. Company officials said these appointments reflect Swavelle Group’s commitment to expanding its presence in the market, delivering unparalleled value to clients, driving growth initiatives and cultivating innovative sales and customer solutions.

Christy Almond has been named as vice president of customer solutions. Formerly with Valdese Weavers, she brings experience and strategic insight to the role and will enhance customer-centric initiatives and tailored solutions for customers, officials said, collaborating with key national accounts.

With a 31-year tenure at Swavelle Group, Joe Kenney has been promoted to vice president of sales and business development. Hiscareer spans various aspects of the business from commercial to RV and includes leadership roles across sales, category, and product development. In his new role, he will oversee the sales force and build upon Swavelle’s commitment to cultivating strategic partnerships and prioritizing customer needs.

Erin Tsucalas has been named design director. She joins Swavelle with more than 25 years of expertise in upholstery product development and will manage the creative process involved in designing and developing textiles for the luxury home furnishings category. Her previous experience includes positions with Lexington Home Brands, Ethan Allen and Kravet.
