Wayfair adding Birch Lane to Western Florida hotspot

BOSTON — On the heels of the opening of its largest showroom, Wayfair’s brick-and-mortar expansion continues as it will open a Birch Lane store in Naples, Fla., in the summer.

First reported by the Naples Daily News, the showroom will be located in a former Z Gallerie location. A Wayfair spokesperson confirmed those plans with Furniture Today, noting that the 10,000-square-foot space is planned for Mercado, a mixed-use shopping center at 9100 Strada Place, 2130.

The spokesperson said the company selected Naples based on a variety of factors, including convenience and accessibility for customers.

It joins three recent Birch Lane openings in the Sunshine State in Boca Raton, Tampa and Sarasota.
