What’s new in Ashley’s refreshed Bakersfield store?

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Furniture maker and Top 100 retailer Ashley will celebrate the refresh of its store at 8015 Rosedale Highway here on Saturday, May 11.

The refreshed store offers a modern, contemporary look with on-trend designs and features an open concept, updated mattress gallery and new interior design elements. Ashley’s new store layout showcases trend-forward styles and highlights new product offerings inspired by current design trends.

“We’ve worked hard to create a store layout that gives our customers the best shopping experience possible, and we’re thrilled to bring this updated layout to our Bakersfield location,” said Chris Wantlin, chief retail officer, Ashley Global Retail. “The entire community is invited to celebrate Ashley’s new look, and we can’t wait to see everyone there!”

The refresh comes on the heels of the brand’s larger rebrand announced last year which seeks to maintain relevance among consumers while attracting a younger demographic of customers who are looking for an upscale and on-trend look at an affordable price point. Ashley also recently introduced new lower price points as part of the rebrand, bringing savings back to customers.

The open-to-the-public celebration will feature photo moments, a live DJ, face painting, light refreshments, workshops from local vendors, and highly coveted giveaway prizes drawn every hour.
