Created by the hotel’s homeowners, Frankie and Jo Whelehan, jointly with Irish architecture company Henry J Lyons and Dublin-centered Kingston Lafferty Structure, the suites are a lesson in minimalism with nods to Scandinavian and Japanese layout sensibilities. “One of the key challenges was making certain [the suites] ended up established among the woodland that surrounds the Montenotte,” says John Burgoyne, associate architect at Henry J Lyons. “We labored intently with the nearby council to make a undertaking that’s harmonious to the landscape, as very well as using pre-current functions within just the architecture.”
