Spring Air extends partnership with Sri Lankan licensee

WOBURN, Mass. Comfort World Sri Lanka has renewed its licensing agreement for the Spring Air brand for another decade, extending its territory to include Seychelles in addition to the Maldives.

Nick Bates, president of Spring Air International, noted Comfort World’s successful stewardship of the brand over 17 years, highlighting the resonance of the brand’s reputation for quality in the region.

“Comfort World has been an outstanding steward for our brand. Its territory includes some of the most beautiful parts of the world with leading resorts and vacation homes. The quality and luxury of our brand has resonated well in this market,” said Bates. “We are looking forward to their continued development of our brand in their territory for many more years to come.”

Comfort World, for its part, described Spring Air as “an exceptional partner.”

Comfort World is a mattress manufacturer based in Sri Lanka. Through its partnership with Spring Air, it has expanded its reach into the hospitality market, with a significant portion of the industry in the region opting for its products.

Spring Air International, established in 1926 and is headquartered in Woburn, Mass., is a top 20 US bedding manufacturer with an international presence in more than 40 countries.
